Hello folks!
My love and I currently live in Tucson, AZ. And are thinking about making a move out there to the Santa Cruz area. As you can tell from our profiles, we are very active in the community (eco-socio-political), and have an eclectic taste for arts and cultures of the “alternative” sort.
I used to live in Cali (So. Lake Tahoe) and have been to Santa Cruz years ago. I didn’t get a chance to fully experience what is available, so perhaps some of you can help us out.
What is it like out there?
What are the "hot spots" or the groups we should be aware of?
What types of communities are active in the bay area?
What should we so/do out there?

Hello there XenitH!
I created a playlist about Santa Cruz on Youtube, there's a little of everything and it might give you an idea of what's going on here:
