  Oh, and if you're into asian style black and grey, look up Dawei Zhang in Santa Clara. He's amazing.

  I would also recommend Craig at Pleasure Point Tattoo. I haven't had work done by him myself but my husband has...lots of it! he does the majority (or maybe all) the drawing freehand and really does an amazing job of taking an idea and turning it into a beautiful work of art.

    I have a full back piece done by Craig. His work is awesome if you are looking for detail and quality art for an elaborate custom piece.
    
    Theressa is a good tattoo artist but they are kind of stuck up over at Staircase and a little pricey. They also charge way too much for their jewelry.
