Ok, so in this town there's about a million things going on.
In the past, I've just taken a bus up to the chaos at the Porter Meadow.
This year, however, I'm in the mood for something different!

Wed, April 16, 2008 - 1:03 PMI no longer live in the Bay Area but if I was still in Santa Cruz I would drive to SF to see Yonder and Mickey Hart for free in Golden Gate Park! But the medow is of course always a great time and I miss it every year I can't visit that medow with all the wonderful people there. -

Fri, April 18, 2008 - 12:37 PMMy wife works at UCSC and she told me that she received an email yesterday saying that UCSC will be closed on Sun. (4/20). No shuttle, no Metro buses, west gate closed. So unless you are student or have some other reason to be on campus, it looks like the administration is shutting it down for 4/20. -
