Strolling around the neighborhood last night, I noticed the "Parking reserved for patrons of Whole Foods only" signs have been put up along 41st Ave/Capitola Rd. (The old Ralph's building). Yet I have heard conflicting reports on whether they are taking that space or not.....does anyone know anything about it? Some local friends are job hunting right now and it might be good time to get the olde resume in there.

Tue, April 22, 2008 - 10:37 PMI actually talked to a 'shifty', 'a store team leader', at the petaluma store the other day and was told that they have the end of the year as an opening date! Not a build by date, but as an opening date, obviously subject to change. -

Fri, April 25, 2008 - 10:54 AMHmm, interesting, I guess that's why I asked cause I heard conflicting reports as to the estimated opening date. I hear they treat their employees well and have benefits and decent wages so sounds good to me. As our basic food prices soar, it is always good to have alternative stores to shop at besides having to resort to Savemart. Anyone had a bad experience wioth their produce? I did and won't shop there again, though the staff are just lovely.
